Among the elite club of Tamil films that have surpassed the ₹450-crore milestone globally, “Jailer” finds itself in esteemed company alongside Shankar’s sci-fi epic “2.0,” which achieved a lifetime collection of ₹723.30 crore, and Mani Ratnam’s historical drama “Ponniyin Selvan: Part I,” which amassed a lifetime collection of ₹498 crore.

The film’s remarkable journey at the box office commenced with an impressive opening day collection of ₹50.50 crore nett in India, followed by successive milestones: ₹28.50 crore nett on its first Friday, ₹38 crore nett on its inaugural Saturday, and ₹45.50 crore nett on its initial Sunday.

The momentum continued into the weekdays as “Jailer” maintained its strength, securing ₹30.50 crore nett on its first Monday and ₹41.50 crore nett on its first Tuesday.
