Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader Raghav Chadha and Bollywood actor Parineeti Chopra got engaged in a private ceremony held at the Kapurthala House in Central Delhi on May 14. The engagement was attended by close family members and political leaders, including Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann, Congress leader P. Chidambaram, Shiv Sena (UBT) leader Aditya Thackeray, and Trinamool Congress (TMC) leader Derek O’Brien. Parineeti’s cousin, Priyanka Chopra Jonas, who flew in from the US earlier that day, was also present at the ceremony.

The couple shared the news on their Instagram pages, posting several photos from the ceremony. Raghav expressed his excitement, writing, “Everything I prayed for .. She said yes!” The function began at 5 pm with Sukhmani Sahib path, followed by ardas, and the engagement took place at 8 pm.

For the special occasion, Raghav wore an ivory achkan from his uncle’s collection, designer Pawan Sachdeva, while Parineeti opted for a pastel peach dress designed by Manish Malhotra. Fashion designer Manish Malhotra, who arrived in the national capital earlier in the morning, was seen dressed in a black and white kurta pyjama with a jacket for the function.

Rumours of the AAP MP and Parineeti’s wedding started in March after they were spotted together in Mumbai. The duo reached Delhi on Tuesday for the engagement. On the eve of their engagement, Parineeti’s Mumbai home and Raghav’s government residence in Delhi were decorated with lights and flowers.

The couple’s engagement has been the talk of the town, and many well-wishers took to social media to congratulate them. Parineeti’s fans, in particular, have been eagerly waiting for her to announce her wedding plans. However, the couple has not yet revealed their wedding date, leaving their fans in suspense.

The engagement of Raghav and Parineeti has also created quite a stir in political circles, with many leaders from various parties attending the event. The presence of political leaders has raised questions about the connection between politics and Bollywood.

In any case, the engagement of Raghav and Parineeti marks the beginning of a new chapter in their lives, and their fans are looking forward to hearing more about their future plans.
